LSP Ceramic Hybrid Bearings are in

Published by Gary under News

These bearings are the typical “Ceramic” bearings that you can buy from skate brands, and they are bearings with ceramic balls running inside steel races.

Usually these cost about $150+- but because LSP has gone direct to the factories you won’t have to pay for any branding and we can therefore sell them at just $45.

The bearings have removable rubber shields on both sides, and its red in color with 3 white “LSP” printed on them. However the printing was rushed so it turned out pretty bad this time, and its all smudged. Anyway thats just decoration so i don’t really care. Performance wise, these bearings are of excellent quality.

If you wanna spend more money on bearings, this would be it because there would actually be a real difference compared to spending money on higher ABEC ratings for example.

Random Longboard Sesh #2

Published by Gary under Original Videos

Longboarding @ Sengkang Riverside Park from lsp on Vimeo.

Its been like 2 weeks since we started longboarding, and its still super fun and chill, and i’ve actually kinda stopped skateboarding altogether oh noes.

We’ve been riding Rivieras and we just got Landyachtz in and wanted to try a freeride board with slide wheels so we set up a Switch with Bear 852s and Zombie 84as.

Some guys told us to check out Sengkang Riverside Park so we did after closing up the store today. Unfortunately it took us forever to find it so got there at like midnight and did not have much time to skate.

Its a pretty chill place and looks like Teletubby Land with lots of pathways that go down a bunch of small grassy knolls. There isn’t anything steep and the part we skate down was the most fun stretch we found.

Some parts are pretty sandy so its good for sliding but bad for speeding through without eye protection. There are also parts next to the canal/river that probably have unseen crocodiles hiding in the bushes ready to pounce on you should you fall. The thought helps boost your adrenalin and make everything much more fun.

Aside from crocodiles, its a really chill safe place to longboard and there are no cars to worry about.

LANDYACHTZ Has Landed!

Published by Gary under News

Aight I like to chill almost as much as Walrus–well actually he chills too much–BUT there are some times when longboarding is SERIOUS BUSINESS, and well fear not we got Landyachtz for you guys!

landyachtz.jpg

These are the same boards that ISGA World Cup Series Champions Mischo Erban (2009) and Scott “Scoot” Smith (2008) are riding so you can’t go wrong.  Ok actually they probably ride the $1000 Carbon Evos, but yes if you want those we can get them in specially for you.

Aside from their srs bzns downhill rigs, we also got the awesome freeride and chill boards, and of course their Bear Trucks and Hawgs Wheels. The online store is not fully updated yet so come down to LSP and have a look if you want first dibs.

Oh and about the ABEC11 and Retro wheels, sorry about the delay, they will probably be in next week.

Check out some freeriding with this funny guy, we set up a pretty much identical board so you guys can come try it out at LSP!

Medium Tee goes to: Carl F, contact number XXXX4390.

X-Large Tee goes to: M. Dinie, contact number XXXX7544.

please come down to LSP and claim the tees thanks!

(how the draw was done: I put all the names into a spreadsheet numbering them 1 to XX, and used www.random.org to generate a random number in the range, which picked the winner in the spreadsheet.)

***************

Ok so we’ve got these 2 Chris Haslam Skull Tees that we got him to sign when he visited LSP a month ago.

We are gonna give them away, this is how it will work.

1) Skate at LSP for at least an hour on any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday over the next 2 weeks. (First day would be 1st Feb, last day 11th Feb)

2) Register with your full name and contact number and which size you want. (M or XL, only 1 size per participant, you cant choose both)

3) We will then randomly select a winner for each of the T-Shirts from the names collected.
