Skateboarding Injuries

Published by Barry at 10:17 pm under News

It seems like a lot of people are getting injured these days. I myself hurt my heel 2 weeks ago and I haven’t been able to skate since.

Our Korean friend Hans, who used to study at Singapore polytechnic and was a Dhoby ghaut regular sent us a picture of his latest injury:

The injury occurred while trying to ollie over a flower pot. He somehow managed to land with one foot in the plant plot resulting in his lateral ankle ligaments tearing. Yummy!

Some pictures of Hans skating in Seoul, Korea before his plant pot ollie:

Your foot looks like an elephants!
When you bruise both sides you know it’s f**ked!
good luck with the recovery process!
Nice back tail. Korea any good to skate?

    Hmmm, about the chinese senseis…
For me it really does work.
Im a gymnast, just picked up skateboarding (noob) haha.
I’ve sprained my ankle many times from doing gymnastics stuns since young.
They are really good for sprained ankles ( make sure you go to an experienced one)
What they do is twist your ankle back in place (I know this sounds painful but I’m serious, it works!)
& The ankle will heal so much faster (2-3days wahlah! back to normal) Vs. western which takes I dont know how long. I havent tried it before.

Yeap so maybe you can try it out, srsly.

    Peace
