Skate Safe
Skateboarding just like any other sport does have its risk of injuries. The worst injury we’ve had till now was when a leprechaun dislocated his elbow in the old miniLSP chasing after a pot of gold.
That injury was infinitely surpassed a couple of days ago when a kid managed to break his femur (the thigh bone, the longest and largest bone) in the miniramp.
It was a very serious business breakage where he kinda twisted it as well and thankfully his parents were around to rush him to hospital for surgery. I visited him yesterday and he was surprisingly chill about the whole thing, and really eager to show me his bottle of blood and his morphine dispensing device. here is a pic, the dudes a hero!

…anyway, yea just be careful when you skate guys, stay within your limits and look out for other people as well!
somewhat related, I found this new video on youtube of a freak skateboarding accident, its pretty interesting but don’t watch it if you have a weak stomach.

yeah tell me about it. i can tell u it sure isnt fun or cool to break a bone. (im the guy who flew over the spine at ECP on new years day and snapped both bones in my arm) :(. get well soon dude (actually it will b about 4-6 months.

Wow,the video…is kinda sick.Huge stairs scare me now, but i think he got that due to him using a blank board which could not took the stress of the 13stairs.However, i am not sure how or what happened.anyone could clarify?
well there are risks with any sort of fun, and sometimes the risks are what make for better thrills. but these are quite freak accidents and its like i could show you videos of traffic accidents that would make you never wanna cross the road again or sit in a moving vehicle~ i dunno what i meant but anyway chill its just life.
gnarly: he landed with his feet too much on the nose and tail and the board broke above the rear truck. it popped up on the nose and he kinda sat on the sharp broken edge. any board will break if you land on it wrong so its important to land on the bolts as much as possible.

It scares me on how the 13stairs was within his capabilites, yet such an accident could happen.Just the thought…anyway, good luck to him.Hope he gets his father’s day.
Oh and Gary, yea i know.Just you know, the stairs within his limits, yet…bah.It won’t stop me from skating.

According to what the camera man says,i belive the area of flesh in between his testicles and ass hole was split right opened which cause the bleeding. However one of the boys stated that his testicles was at his ass which probably implys that the sack also split opened.
NO AMBULANCES ARE EXPENSIVE! lol that part cracked me up
