Quick update
1. Due to the losses we incurred from having to shut down miniLSP, we regret that Barry and Hiromi will most likely be leaving LSP to look for work elsewhere where they can actually make enough money to live.
2. Rest assured that I will keep the dream alive as long as I have the means. I don’t care much for living.
3. We have found a new location for miniLSP and will try to get it renovated ASAP, target date to open will be the first week of next month.
We would like to thank Fen from Jitterbugs Swingapore school of dancing for the tip. We have all signed up for pole dancing lessons as a show of our gratitude.
Seriously tho, if any of you out there wanna learn any form of dance please take lessons from them and say LSP sent you to repay her kindness cos we would have nothing now if not for Fen.
4. As for the main LSP… we might have something but thats a big project so it will take a long time.
5. We got some new AWS and Habitat Completes in the store, these are good quality skateboards perfect for new skaters and people on a budget as they are much cheaper than assembling a complete from separate parts.
6. We got some new wheels from Betterskateboarding.com, these are cheap and flatspot proof (as far as Barry has tested), but they may be extremely hard and slidey, which barry loves since thats his secret to doing 720 big spins.
7. Stef has left for London. He only has like 10 hours a week of university or something and he has promised to update us with videos of skating in the UK & France and wherever else he explores.
P.S. Stef, Seb said to check out Rue de Baguette in Paris, the street he grew up on.
this is really sad. I havent even been going there as much when i knew that you guys were going to close. I am very sad to hear that barry and hiromi have to leave to find work, but i understand that they need money and everyone needs money. I hope that the new miniLSP wont be somewhere very far to where it was before. I hope that barry and hiromi wont think just about work but also about skateboarding, because it would be a shame to let it all behind. I hope that everything will be good and that LSP will come back up, as being probably one of the best skateshops in singapore.
peace
Arthur
