Fakie Wear official launch party TONIGHT!!

Here is a small interview with Nazeer one of the founders of Fakie streetwear:
Q: Who are the team riders?
A: Home(Sufian)-BMX, Nizam-BMX, Nazeer-skate, Wan-skate, with the support of 7 art monsters
Q: What is the brand about?
A: Fakie clothing is a street, surreal-inspired clothing..focus on visual arts, street arts, sound arts
Q: What does it represent?
A: Fakie represent the local young talents..from professional riders to musician.
Q: Why did you decide to start a brand?
A: Initially we felt that cloth/fabric is a good medium to have our arts to be seen..so we started designing & printing our own t-shirts. Basically that is how we came about running a small indie clothing label.
Q: Why now and not at the beginning of the year or last year?
A: We started to know each other since late 90s..fakie is a collaboration of 2 labels(Loviete, Last Fall clothing) these 2 label started producing merchandise in early 2003..we are aware of each other movement during that time, we felt comfortable running individual brands till one day, we find there is a need for us to do something better..a collaboration.
Q: Are there any plans to open a permanent store or will it only be online?
A: Hopefully we will have an official store in future, for now it will only be available thru online shops.
Q: Can i have a free shirt?
A: yes, if you could personally approach 100 people & introduce fakie to them ;)
Q: What comes next in the fakie wear agenda?
A: We are in the process of putting out a few new tshirts, hoodie, bags, decks & besides that we will be blowing up a walls ard sg with our artwork..should be available by late July/August.check out http://www.fakiewear.com for more updates
