Hi Mr DoingTheDemo. Hi to you ! My name is Mathew n mark is my son who just started skateboarding. You mention there be a demo i would like to bring my kids to watch it. Could you reply me back with the exact time and who be performing the Demo . Thank you Mr DoingTheDemo
Yeah guys there be a demo this coming sunday national day . No one in particular good are performing except just some local kids intermediate level skate. Not really a demo just a small show of kids skating you can come along with your kids to skate.and join in the fun. And there be another best trick contest at east coast extreme park this coming sunday too from 2 to 6pm organise by now skater . Do come down and check it out. registration on its day.
It is not ready yet (still super dusty, no lights, miniramp not open yet) but its basically a longish smooth concrete area with street obstacles by Skatewave (same manufacturer of the stuff at somerset and bishan)
There are a bunch of benches, a square double kink rail, a launch to a jersey barrier(wow), a manual pad, and a 4ft miniramp. Theres also some nice gaps around (like over a low wall down to a street soccer area) and i imagine you could put the launch next to the handrails.
Aside from the 4ft miniramp, there are no transitions, quarterpipes, pyramids or funboxes, its a proper “street” spot. The miniramp has got proper skatelite surfacing, and its much better than that crappy metal one at somerset.
It’s very small but like gary said it looks like a lot of fun. In other news, mini-LSP will only be open for another few weeks so if you haven’t skated our mini-ramp or small street course COME ON DOWN NOW before it’s gone!
