the big ramp and the platform at L1 are already stuffed, but they are stuffed to make it less loud for skaters' ears, they do nothing to take care of the noise that is transmitted to our neighbors.

The noise we hear with our ears is easily absorbed by the insulation we have already installed on the walls, and are blocked by the concrete walls themselves. The problem is actually the impact and vibrations that are transmitted through the concrete structure everytime a skateboard hits or rolls on the ground. The only sure way to stop this would be to build a separate floor above the concrete floor that is suspended on springs. These constructs are insanely expensive tho.

in other news, the new rail is being installed now as im typing this, it looks super good if i should say so myself lol.

Thank you all for the comments, we would not feel good receiving donations because that would be like bailing out all new businesses which fail, which most do. We took a big risk entering into this and should rightfully accept whatever happens, it is nobody's fault but our own should we not do well.

The market here is so small that if we were doing well, other skateshops would be suffering and that is not what we want. Indeed, when we set up miniLSP, it strained our relations with other skateshops and it really made us feel terrible especially since we grew up patronising those very same skateshops.

So anyway, the best way to help us and skateboarding in singapore is to get more people into it. Everyone wins when the sport gets bigger, we will have more sponsors, more competitions, more support from the government, and more public skateparks.
